VENUS IN FURS & TIMES

VENUS IN FURS is a highly acclaimed outfit originally based in Sussex, England. The band was formed around the multifarious talents of composer, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist TIMES.

Their early material was made as a four-piece band (Curtain: Live in Concert, Extended Play, and Verve) before reforming as a duo in 1984: TIMES and SKOT LUCY produced two albums together (Platonic Love and Strip). A side project under THE BROTHERS CHRIST, in which TIMES teamed up with COLIN JOHNSON, also emerged during this period.

After that, TIMES mainly worked solo under the VIF-banner, producing the albums Real Moral Fibre, Megalomania, and many other works of varied and challenging music. On these pages, you can find more information on the musical work of TIMES.
